Types of Work Permits We Handle:

1. Employer-Specific (Closed) Work Permit

• Requires a valid job offer
• May require LMIA approval
• Tied to one employer, position, and location

2. Open Work Permit

• No job offer required
• Work for most employers in Canada
• Available in specific situations (spouse, PGWP, PR applicants)

Who Can Apply for an Open Work Permit?

Most open work permits are available only in specific situations (often from within Canada). We help determine if you qualify.

Students & Youth

• Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP)
• International Experience Canada (Working Holiday)
• Certain graduates (e.g. Hong Kong pathway)
• Destitute students

Family Members

• Spouses of workers or international students
• Family members of PR applicants
• Sponsored spouses/partners

Vulnerable Individuals

• Refugee claimants & protected persons
• Victims of workplace abuse
• Individuals in crisis situations

Other Eligible Applicants

• PR applicants in Canada
